We introduced the Imperfect tense yesterday - and I'm sure for most of you this constitutes revision. Today we'll talk a bit more about this tense, introducing more verb conjugations.
On today's show
In episode 12 we'll get into the Imperfect Tense a bit more, discussing further uses of this tense, and going over the -ir and -re verbs in the imperfect.

Hey all. I actually listened to this episode yesterday. I've been getting a bit mixed up because my ipod is a shuffle so I can't actually see if i'm listening to the right one. Firstly, I thought I was behind so I listened to two, then realised I was i front- oops! That's why I haven't written up answers on one of the episodes because the question didn't seem to match up with the episode! Ok here goes...
Tu parlais tous le temps.
Ils vendaient la nourriture.
Nous finissions nos devoirs.

Il parlait avec son professeur.
Je finissais mes devoirs.
Nous vendions des biscuits pour charité.

Good stuff, Andrea. I think I'd say "pour la charité", although "for charity" can't quite be translated literally. According to the dictionary I think you'd probably be better saying "nous vendions des biscuits pour une oeuvre charitable". It sounds a bit clumsy - there's probably a better way of saying this, and I know that this isn't what we're testing anyway!

Gavin, you need to say 'jusqu'à midi' and it would be 'leurs devoirs' (their homework).
Tamsin, no problem - happy to see that you are still with us! You would need to say 'ta chanson' if you are using 'tu'.
