One of my methods for learning Chinese, particularly when it comes to writing, is by preparing my own materials to use on my palm or iPod when I get a minute. I've done a set of flashcards for some of what has been covered in lessons 1-3 of ChinesePod. I've included the character as it's written in different fonts, and given examples of it in sentences.
For each character, the first flashcard shows the character itself, the alternative font versions, and example sentences including the character:
The second flashcard shows the same as the first one, but includes the pinyin versions.
The third flashcard shows the English translation of both the character itself and of the sample sentences.

I really like your Flash Cards! Excellent presentation and very helpful. Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks, Scott and Bazza. I'll be working on more of the flashcards in the near future hopefully now that things are a bit calmer workwise.
